Turn a CSV into a Markdown table

Keep the CSV quoting intact

The first row becomes the header. Short rows receive empty cells. Quoted line breaks become visible separators inside one Markdown cell.

Try a comma inside a quoted field

The comma in Alex’s note stays inside one cell. The first line supplies the column names.

When the CSV cannot be parsed

Close each quoted field and use a doubled quote for a literal quote inside it. This tool supports comma-separated CSV, not every spreadsheet dialect.
