Joao Vitor Humenhuk Achutti provides MarkThatDown. Apple’s standard app license applies to the Mac App Store download.

Your files and the free app

You remain responsible for your files and backups. We take no ownership of your writing. Free writing, formatting, reading, search, and Markdown and PDF sharing have no note limit. Ordinary Markdown files remain readable and editable without Pro.

Optional Pro

Pro adds history, locked notes, Word and HTML export, Writing Tools, custom templates and shortcuts, the tag browser, and icon colors. Apple offers monthly and annual subscriptions and a single lifetime purchase. The price, offer eligibility, and billing terms shown by Apple before purchase apply.

Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Subscriptions renew unless canceled through Apple before the next billing period. Lifetime access does not renew. Restore purchases through the app or manage them through your Apple Account. Request refunds through Apple. Ending Pro leaves ordinary notes available in the free app.

Use and availability

Keep suitable backups and check files shared with other apps or services. Website tools and templates need your review before use. Updates, compatibility, and available features can change. Writing Tools require eligible hardware and macOS 26 or later.

Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, MarkThatDown is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, including loss from unsupported file changes or missing backups. England and Wales law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
