Privacy notice

Effective October 2, 2026.

Your notes

The app reads and edits files and folders you choose. It does not upload notes, attachments, local history, recovery data, or Writing Tools prompts to us. Optional Writing Tools use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models on eligible Macs. A synced folder or sharing destination follows that provider’s data handling.

Purchases and support

Apple processes purchases. StoreKit supplies the entitlement used to unlock Pro. We do not receive payment-card details. If you email us, we and the email providers process your message to answer your request. Send only information needed for support.

This website

The website adds no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Cloudflare receives the connection information needed to serve the site, including IP addresses and request details. Browser tools process entered text locally. They do not send it to us.

Storage and control

You control ordinary note files and backups. App-managed settings and optional history stay on your Mac. Removing the app does not delete files in a folder you chose. Delete those files and any backups or synced copies yourself. Support correspondence remains only as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal information we hold. Email markthatdown@humenhuk.com. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the relevant local authority.
