Keep the outer fence longer

Ordinary code receives a three-backtick fence. A code sample containing triple backticks receives a longer outer fence so it stays inside one block.

Wrap a single line of JavaScript

The result keeps the code inside a fence. Add a language label in your editor if your renderer supports highlighting.

console.log("Hello");

Add a language only when useful

The generated block has no language label. You can add one after the opening fence in your editor. A fence displays code and never executes it.
