Avoid competing saves

  1. Save the note in the first app before opening or editing it in the second.
  2. Make a small change in the second app and save it.
  3. Return to MarkThatDown and check the visible content before making another edit.

When two versions disagree

Keep copies of both versions before deciding what to retain. Compare the text and any attachments. Do not overwrite a version merely because its window is newer.

Check the saved file and sync conflicts

External sync software can also change a file. Check the saved file and provider conflicts separately.
